Agreed. I am surprised your dog didn't scare them off - must be pretty placid. Mine would have barked them into the next county!.

Thanks Penolta. Fortunately, my dog's a wee thing and she was partially concealed in the tallish grass -so she didn't see them and they didn't see her. I wouldn't call these deer tame but they are accustomed to seing people in our neighbourhood. Cheers, Dan
