what a cute little guy! what's he doing with the shrubbery? the last two pics have a human-like 'just-hangin'-out' quality to them. very cute.

These little Pikas are herbivores and are eating the plants or storing them for the winter. They don't hibernate like other mammals around here and are active all winter under the snow and boulders. They will need a good food supply to get through the cold winter.
