Very tough shooting conditions. The camera will often focus on the myriad of reeds instead of your intended subject. You did great. I really like how the eye of the GBH in the 2nd shot is sharp. That really is the focal point of the pic. My only suggestion would be to increase the contrast a bit on the 2nd shot.
