Yes I have been to all of the places you mention as I have lived in Wyoming for over 40 years and travel the state.
We have just had our first major snowstorm of the season on this side of the state--Casper, so it has really taken a lot of the leaves off of the trees.
Colors don't seem as good this year as they did last year.
Same here in Southern Manitoba. Usually by last weekend the leaves' colour is at it's peak. We still have a lot of leaves...most of them green, even though it's gone below zero each night for over a week. We had a great warm September...but last weekend got about 8-10 inches of snow...same storm I think as you had in Wyoming.

I have a feeling we will go direct to winter...I got to get my snow and ice tires on the Vibe and winterize my Pentax K10D and KM ASAP.
