Default Our Orphens

I would like to share this series of photos of a pair blackbirds that we hand-reared after thier nest was destroyed and their parents were driven away.

When I found them in the garden they were deathly cold and almost featherless, we didn't think they would last the night, but as you can see, with a little TLC and 2 hourly feeds for the first 2 weeks they managed to pull through and were released into the wild after about 5 weeks.
