Was at the local lake the other day, and there were all these photographers there....I wondered what they were looking at...
ahhh...posing Wood Ducks!

This was the best one...I think he was enjoying himself..

There were a few swimmers and ladies about too..

then one flew by. It was a little foggy and this was more or less into the sun through the fog. Wish the light had been behind me

Love the detail from the K20D. You really need to borrow the lens the one person in the first photo has on the tripod just for grins.

Thanks Tom. Yes, I'd like to be able to get my hands on that 600! I talked to him. It weighs about 13lbs! And his tripod almost as much. Seems like a lot to carry around, especially with the km's I put on when out and about. He had it attached to a k2od, and another k20d with the DA*300. I think I'll just wait for the 1.4tc coming out. That'll give me lots of portable length....cheers...Don

Thanks Squirl. We have a couple of places in the Vancouver area where they're all over the place. These were from Burnaby Lake, and the other place is the Reifel bird sanctuary in Ladner which is loaded with all kinds of species. Trouble is, it's about an hour away, and I don't like driving that far very often...cheers...Don
