Wetlands are coming alive again with he migration of the northern fowl. Lots to observe and shoot!

1. Bald Eagle searching for prey



2. Eagle low-flying (with prey)



3. White Heron searching for a meal



4. Loggerhead Shrike perched high



5. Open up and say "ahhhhh"



6. Just a 'lil closer this time



7. Anhinga scores dinner



8. Great Blue Heron



9. White Heron in flight



10. Flock of white egrets

Very nice series. I like the variety of shots. Number 6 could be used in a tooth whitening commercial.

you could change it to . . . anhinga scores BIG dinner. did it get that fish swallowed?

the egret formation is very cool.

Thanks and YES!! It got 'er down....I have some shots of the "swallowing" however the lighting was poor as the bird came up on shore and into the reeds to feast.

I've seen those guys take down some pretty big Bass as well!!
