I seem to luck out when it comes to spotting these masters of concealment. This one was just off the road taking in the sun.

Very nice, the ones around here (in summer) do the look like a plant thing too when they see you watching them.

Well, you are one lucky man. Have heard them so many times but never actually seen any. Flying, yes. But not on the ground

Nevertheless I've got a picture of it, very much concealed. It is there, somewhere. The DOF is just enough to cover the area

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the comments.

Torngny, your picture of the Bittern in hiding in the reeds made me laugh out loud. I am sure your right and he is in there.... somewhere. Thanks for the laugh.
