Taken in mid-October at a local park near the river. We see tons of Canada geese come and go and go ona daily basis as well as the occasional mallards.

#1 - Female mallard just puttering along - the green water is a reflection of the overhanging branches

# 3 - a personal favourite. I heard them coming before I saw them so I stood ready. When I saw them appear over the trees I just clicked away. Thanks for looking and commenting. Cheers, Dan

Two more outstanding shots. Nice going. I love the colors, texture of the water and the reflection of the Mallard in your first shot. Your Canada goose is crystal clear with a great shot of the undercarriage.

Oh My, that third shot is great. They remind of fighters coming back to the carrier.

Hey Dan, if you don't mind, do me a favor and take a look at my "Big Mechanical Eagle scares up the geese" post at the bottom of this page. Some of the geese coming back in to land remind me of your third shot. No one has commented and it's been posted over a week but, I think it's probably due to the holidays, Thanks.

Great work,
Steve
