This morning I trying to track a red-shouldered hawk when it disappeared behind a line of trees. I thought I was in position to shoot when it emerged, but it fooled me and popped out over the trees directly over me. I had to shoot by reaction and didn't get the first properly framed
He was nearly past me when I got decent framing
A few minutes earlier I had seen my dog running after something. When I got into the back yard, I saw that this deer wasn't scared of the dog, but my presence wasn't something to be tolerated.
