Still not used to taking bif image with this manual focus old lens (Pentax A300mmF4) after this harsh winter. At least it is a good start of the birdie season

It looked like squirrel judging from the hair. It came and went real fast. That was the gruesome part.

Those are great shots Daniel, hard to get that close around here without the hawk flying off with the prey.

Thanks. I did not like this one with less interesting pose and distracting background.

But I was real close at around 30 ft frontal
