1st Turkey Buzzard/snowing


My 1st opportunity at a Turkey Buzzard when it was snowing. He is here about a month earlier than last year. Next year he probably will wait a couple of weeks before coming North.

Geeeeeeez not only snow but now wind to go with it.

I am sure most wildlife photographers have asked themselves at least 3 times a day "??? Does a Turkey Buzzard Have A Tongue???" Finally the answer:

Yipeeeeeeeee the snow and wind has stopped.

Hi, I use a canon 1d mark 3 with a 500 IS lens.

Same from me Roger! We have these guys up here too. They get a bad rap becasue some people find them ugly as sin (which they are :lol but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate their unique kind of "beauty", especially when they're in flight. Dan
