I like the contrast between the brown slug and the gray gravel.

Steve,

penolta

Gentlemen,

When we first left Gothenburg on our expedition to the inner of Hising Island; earlier only reached by the local tram, we were five persons, myself and the four Sherpa carriers, direct ascendants to Tensing himself; assigned by the Employment Office

Without them it would have been impossible to carry all the heavy equipment, especially the very heavy Canon G9 with it's case and a lot of spare batteries.

As the hardships by time got overwhelming the Sherpas got totally exhausted; due to lack of food and drinking water a mutiny took place where i stood alone as the expedition leader

I am happy though to report that at the time they refused to move another inch we already had reached the goal and I had managed to get a number of exposures, handling all the heavy gear by myself

Lacking further support the eqiupment had to to be left at the place of the encounter with "The Brown Forest", as we call it, but a new expedition will take place to bring back the equipment, and perhaps get some more exposures of this strange creature

The next time around I'll be more careful choosing expedition members

Torgny
