Default The Semi-Palmated Sandpiper - Another Little Guy

Ornothologists argue as to whether the Least Sandpiper or the Sem-Palmated is the smallest Sandpiper - All I can say is that this bird is about six inches long, which is to say, smaller than the average sparrow.

They run along the beach, reach down, and continue running? Well, the sea will toss up a tidbit, and THEN you have to act fast, or the sea will take it away

Here's a close crop, followed by a VERY close crop, that lets you know more about the details.

And the close crop (which is over 100 percent)

The following three images are portraits of this wonderful little guy who dances with the surf.
