Les - Glad you enjoyed these. I got that lens for about $400 from KEH. Last time I checked, they had another one (thread mount, but same lens) for about $600.

nice series... i've managed some nice "catch" sequences with GBHs at a park near my house... they're really quite fascinating to watch. were these taken at the full zoom 600mm?
