Default Cold little birds

Not exactly sure what kind of birds these are. Any IDeas? ;D

Those are some nice images of goldfinch in their winter plumage.

Very nice photos. The 4th photo looks like a Yellow-rumped Warbler.

These are cute photos, Jennlynn, but I don't believe them to be goldfinches. The beaks are too long and thin whereas GFinches have orangish coloured bills which are shorter and more conical in shape. These appear to be some kind of warbler (don't know which kind - maybe someone else can help...? ). The 4th photo appears to be a yellow rumped warbler in winter plumage. Cheers, Dan

Correct, Dan - the last one is a Yellow-rumped Warbler. The first one is tougher - the nearest I can come to it would be a juvenile Palm Warbler, some of which apparently can be very dark.
