Default Very young First Year Bald Eagle

I was out on a photo shoot with one of the Sac. refuge managers today and we must have seen 7-8 Bald Eagles. We found one with a light tan color we had never seen before. The Refuge Manager decided it must have been a late hatch and a very young 1st year. We had a nice opportunity because the Eagle was finishing up a duck or goose for breakfast and didn't seem to be very interested in us. dfg

He kept losing his balance while trying to pick the carcass which gave us an excellent opportunity to see the wing spread.
