Default The Sunny South?

A mild ice storm kept folks at home this weekend, allowing me some time to shoot small birds in my yard, coping with the icy conditions. This little downy is the first one I have seen this winter.

An aggressive robin laid claim to a sumac tree as his food source

A white throated sparrow picked the only green to be seen for his perch

and a hermit thrush sneaked in for a shot at the sumac berries
