Ned - Thanks so much for your kind comments! I always hope my photos will encourage someone to stop, take a good look, and enjoy...

Hope your weather improves soon, and that you have the time (& warm clothing) to get out in the beauty of the cold season too!

Hiya! Oi, the weather is worse... I woke this morning to minus 15 fahrenheit... I am supposed to go to my evening Russian class... not tonight...

Yes, indeed, your photos do encourage a stop and look... in fact, when I someday get a telephoto, I might even take a crack at Finnish birds... we have one bird native to Finland, that when it is flying... it makes the most weird noise I have heard from a bird... really bizzare.

Mole, I take it that you are from Tennessee. My father was from Union City. Boy I sure would like to see America again, and it would be nice to photograph the Reelfoot lake region.

All the best and take care.

Ned

Ned - Sure do hope & pray you are surviving that extreme weather!
Would love to see your images of Finnish birds.
Yes, I am blessed to live in Tennessee - in the Northeast corner of the state (a LONG way from Reelfoot lake).
Thanks!

Nice pictures, I always struggle with the exposure and the chickadees eyes.

Lovely series Mole, you've certainly done the chicks justice - especially number 2 - the light is amazing. Well done. Cheers, Dan
