Default Cute littel Black Phoebe

This little guy kept flying off and returning to this sign which made for a nice opportunity.

Better lighting in 2&3 - and nice background. Good shots with the beak open. I have one or two of these that hunt in my back yard, but always backlighted - by the time I move to a better position, they have left. I hope they like bees, because we have had a hive develop in a back corner somewhere behind the shrubbery - a little too close for comfort!

Thanks guys, This little guy was just singing away. I think side lighting really did enhance those last two shots. I got better detail in the first one but it was earlier in the morning and the sun was high enough yet.
Thanks for all your great comments,
Steve

Thaks GW. There were lots of these little guys. These are two different birds at two different locations on the refuge. I agree that the light was better on shots 2&3.
Cheers, Steve
