Default pigeon

well i went to a wedding / holiday for a week and took all my kit two d90's lenses tripods etc and this is what i come up with LOL im not kidding the weather was terrible .

Not to worry, bad weather or not, nice photo... but tell me about the background, in the lower left, it looks like droplets of water... rather interest use of DOF. Was this planned? Your pigeon is really sharp. Nice composition. Thanks. Ned

the droplets are rain it only stopped for about two hours this is when i took this shot i thought i would get a chance to do some nice landscape / hdr but the sky's were horrible bland and grey so i opted not to .

as for planned no .... thanks for your comment Eetu

Really nice sharp shot of this bird.

Was this taken in the suburbs or country? I ask because I've noticed a distinct difference between those birds I shoot in Manhattan, and those that I shoot in country areas. This guy looks healthy, not at all like the dingy NYC birds.

it was taken almost on the sea front so i guess food is a plenty for these rodents i almost shot some gulls but glad i dint now ive seen your crab shot
