Yeah, but look at the Purple fringing on the back of the White Crane in the water? Has to be the lens...I got a better one on the way I found two Nikon E17ED Teleconverters, one is on the way...it'll make this pic's really snap ...I think?!?

If I would hve taken the 7D with me today i would havegot some knock out shots...but the FZ35 still impresses me for a $275 used camera that took all this pic's...check out the close ups I just posted...

I really like the first shot.

But that OOF chunk of wood on the bottom keeps stealing my attention away from the rest of this beautiful photo.

Nice job. looks a lot like the terrain around here, where are you located.
BTW, that's a Great White Heron, not a crane. :)

Really like the picture. I also like the painted turtles basking on the log...but there's something down the log a bit. Not sure if it is wood, some kind of mushroom or fungus growth or a soft shelled turtle ?:confused:

Thanks GW...I should have looked it up! Good to know thanks for the info...Thats Heard Museum Wetlands in McKinney, Texas...really enjoy the exhibits and the hikes there, we joined as members...You musta been out riding that Goldwing?
