Default A gloomy day to shoot but...

From the E-620. Very overcast today.

These are good Gary, but they need a little PP to give them some pop. Same as the blue jay where Torgny did his thing. Its easy in CS4 and most other editing programs are similar. When I get a shot like this, I'll try auto contrast first. Sometimes that will do the trick, if not I got to "curves" and pick the black eye dropper then click on an area that I know should be black. Sometimes I have to tweak it a little after that but for the most part, that's all I have to do to get the results I want.
