Default Love in blue

This mated pair of jays was in the midst of feeding. The male on the right had JUST finished feeding his mate. Just missed it. Crap. From the Fuji.

Gary, you have no idea how much I like this shot. First it's a terrific job of composition and the technical aspects of photography....but the more immediate benefit for me is convincing me to leave my long lenses home when I go to Hawaii in a couple of weeks. I had been debating just taking short lenses with my Pentax and trying to use only the Fuji for any wildlife or other long zoom applications. Your shots convince me the camera is more than up to the task.

Thanks, Ronny. I only regret I had been a little more ready to catch the actual feeding.

Thanks so much, Paul! The HS-10 has become my weapon of choice for a LOT of things I shoot but in particular, wildlife. If I really need some reach, I can put a TCON17 on it and I've got 1224mm. Of course, handheld shots at that range is almost out of the question. But, the HS-10 has risen to meet every challenge I've managed to throw at it and perform exquisitely. I used to love my Oly SP570UZ but this HS-10... WOW!
