Default Anticipation

This juvenile rabbit was contemplating a meal of some of my coreopsis. In fact, he managed to gulp down a few until a blue jay swooped in on the feeder imitating a hawk's call. He took off like a shot. Taken with Oly and Fuji.

Interesting series.

It made me really realise the veins in a rabbit's ears. He (or she) appears to have a few little growths on the ears too.

Thanks for the background story - it helped 'fit it in'.

I think photo #4 is my fav of this set. Cheers.

Thanks very much. The intention is to show the veins, so it worked I think the growth may be ticks.
