Default Peregrine Falcon- Male

The same Falcon that was perched for photos on Veteran's Day was still hanging out on the same perch. The perch was placed there by the refuge staff to attract raptors. It seems to be working for this guy.

Thanks for looking. Steve

Great series, looks like you were definitely in the right place at the right time. Where were these taken?

That is a great looking falcon. Maybe he is hanging around wanting some one to train him, or can you train them at that age? That would be seriously cool!
I like his fourth "pose", looks like he is keeping his eye on you...maybe waiting on your rabbit out of your hat trick

Thanks Steve, They were taking at the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge located in the middle of the Sacramento Valley near Willows CA. This male is fond of this artificial perch the refuge folks put up on the auto tour route. I find him there quite often lately.
