Default Cluster of Hibernating BUTTERFLIES

These are very hard to find because they look like dead leaves. i saturated it to bring out some color. Taken with a 300mm lens on a Nikon D300

Wow, that's amazing Caryl. Were did you find them? I thought the Monarchs all took off in October. But, what do I know.

These were in Santa Cruz Ca but they are also in Monterey Ca. They are hibernating for the winter in those clusters.
