Default A few birds from today

Well, it snowed overnight and we woke up to temps below freezing. Usually that means some birds show up at the feeder. And to no surprise, there was a lot of activity today.

These are not nearly as good as what Carlo has been posting lately but .....

All taken with E-30 dslr, 50-200mm ED 2.8 lens, mounted to a 393 Gimbal bracket on Manfrotto tripod. only the last image has been cropped. I did use CS5 and ACR6.3 to adjust WB, sharpened a bit and added clarity.

Sweet shots Zig. Getting a nice portrait of a male Cardinal is top on my list. But you have to see them before you can shoot them.

Hi Bynx,

Thank you much, Bynx.

I'm fairly lucky, as this particular Cardinal appears to be a regular visitor to the feeder. Now, it's a matter of getting a properly framed shot.

Zig

Bellisimo! I really like that chickadee shot but all are outstanding, Zig.
