Default juvenile western grebe

saw this little fella fairly close in to the beach down at Saltwater State Park last weekend. the light wasn't very good, pretty dull and flat, but i managed to salvage this shot... 40D, 400mm, 1/160 @ f/6.3...

Nice shot, Rocky, but I'm afraid it isn't a Western Grebe, but a winter plumaged Horned Grebe like the one below (similar to an Eared Grebe, but with more white on the sides of the head, and a white spot in front of the eye):
