Default weekend woodies

some wood ducks made an appearance while i was at the park yesterday... i have tons of pics of these little guys, but i always seem to take more whenever i see them... anyway, these were shot with the 40D and 100-400 @ 400mm, various shutter speeds # f/6.3...

They are always worth a few more snaps. Pretty, pretty birds. I wish they weren't so skittlsh down here. Nice job. I am going to have to work harder to get my first pic of a Wood duck.

i also was a bit scared to open this from the title. lol....


real nice set though, #2 is a great portrait and #3 is nicely timed. well done.

yeah, it does kinda need one, doesn't it? maybe something like, "here dear, let me fix your collar"... or, judging by the somewhat taken aback look on the drake, maybe "psst... honey! we're expecting again!"
