Well, today was my last day to see if the chick would fly. I'm leaving Marco Island tomorrow for the long ride back up to the Northeast.

Bright and early, I was at the Osprey's nest at Tigertail, hoping to see the chick get up and fly. The short of it is that it did not. At least, not when I was there. Perhaps later in the day.

But, it did make a valiant effort. This is a link to a thread I posted at the Olympus DSLR forum, this morning showing the chick trying as hard as it could.
I was happy to see it's progress. And, I may even see it up in Cape Cod when it decides to leave Florida.



So you want to be a better photographer? Open your eyes and take a look at what is all around you.
