Default marsh wren

had some time this afternoon, and my knee wasn't bothering me too bad, so i headed for Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland. spent about 3 hours there, mostly gabbing with some folks i know, but i did manage this shot of a marsh wren - these little guys don't come out in the open much, and they're VERY twitchy and elusive! 40D. 350mm, 1/500 @ f/10...

Out where the rivers like to run, I stand alone, and take back something worth remembering...

Nicely composed...he looks as if he's about to take off again.
