Hi, a few images from my time in the field.

Baikal Teal

Ruddy Duck (bubbling display)

Baby Woodducks leaving their nest cavity.

Sanderling along Lake Superior


Baltimore Oriole

Eastern Bluebird (with grub)

Northern Saw Whet Owl

Horned Grebe (with grub)

Redtailed Hawk

Man, you have great fields to work in.
Just a fantastic series of shots. How do you pick a favorite? If I had to pick I guess I would have to go with the owl, love it.

What beautiful photos, the colours are superb, exposure spot on, compositions powerful and each bird is gorgeous!

Truly artistic and well executed. I expect a lot of patience was needed!

Some of the photos EXIFs remain, others are not there. It appears you are using a Nikon D300. What lens or lenses were these made with? Thanks for sharing.

I can only agree with the others, because they have pretty much said everything I would say. For telling a story, I have to pick the baby wood ducks leaving the nest cavity. I wonder if they realize once they jump, they're committed? No going back. A rite of passage. Mama's waiting below!

Those are great, I agree with the others the Baby Wood Ducks is my favorite.
