Default osprey at Juanita (4)

went to the park at Juanita Bay this afternoon, not a lot going on, but this osprey did put in an appearance. never caught anything, but he gave us a nice look at him while he was looking for fish! 40D, 400mm (cropped), 1/1000 @ f/7.1

Excellent shots Rocky....The flight shots of these guys are always something to see because of the color patterns in the wings...He might not have caught anything that day but he hasn't missed a meal to many times....Those talons are deadly....

Fantastic. The last shot looks like it has something in its sights.
