Default I can't believe I got this one.

I was just walking through the trees and somehow noticed something unusual out of the corner of my eye. This baby raccoon was poking his head out of a knothole in an oak tree and I started shooting (with my camera ).



This definitely has a cuteness factor.

WOW, thanks for the gracious comments. I didn't expect this, much less contest worthy. I just might get up the nerve to try an entry. I just feel like a total noob and this was a confidence booster, Thanks and glad you enjoyed it.
