Default Seagulls in flight

Some Seagulls inflight at the beach from my coast trip a couple of weeks ago.

This is a Heermann's Gull (in heavy molt), up from the Gulf of California, where they breed. Nice feather detail in these flight shots.

Penolta, I was wondering about the species of those gulls. I've not seen them up here in Northern Cali before. Thanks for the ID.
