Default Flyingdragonslayer

There was a cool black storm cloud moving in, and 5 or 6 dragonflies hanging out in the front yard. So with the sun shining behind me I sat down to try to capture some elusive 'dragonfly on the wing' shots with the dark cloud as background. Of course they didn't cooperate, only got a few focused shots and never with the background i wanted. Then a Mississippi Kite swooped in just over the tree tops and grabbed one of the Dragonflies out of the air. It really startled me and I didn't remember to snap any pics for critical seconds, so I missed the sweet acrobatics of him catching the the dragonfly but got a few of him snacking on it.
