Default swans on the wing

went to my favorite bird park today, since it was a glorious sunny afternoon. quite a lot going on, actually. i managed some nice shots of some swans in flight. there's a group of about 25 of them - mix of trumpeter and tundra swans - that started wintering over here about 4 years ago, and every once in a while, they offer some nice photo ops.

Hey Rocky, Good to see you posting. Great captures in some nice light. I love the Diamond formation in the third shot. It reminds my of the Blue Angles. I have been hearing the Tundra Swans flocking north the last couple of nights and I noticed today that they are absent from their usual resting spots as I drove around the valley today. They are heading your way.
