G'day Dick

the last 2 are starting to show the bird much better - tho against the bright sky is always hard - maybe pop back there with your flash to light up the belly feathers and even things up a bit?

Regards, Phil

Thank you so much! We were driving along on a country road when I saw the Eagle fly to the top of the power pole. Thankfully he landed on a pole that had a driveway right below it. I pulled in and parked, my wife and I both got out of the car with our camera and started taking photos. She got some pretty amazing shots too!

Nice photos, Dick.

I'm guessing it's eating a fish (or part of one?... as I see a fin I think in the 4th and 5th photos).

I do agree, a flash might have brightened up some of the feathers, but you did very well capturing this 'candid' shot like that.

Cheers

Paul

Fish breath..

Good grab shot Dick. Sometimes the best are. Somehow I don't think the flash would have reached as close as the lens would let you. Those birds are sometimes a little stand offish.
