Default Snow Geese

They've finally arrived. I guess spring has sprung. They were over feeding in the nasty mud flats on the other side of the tracks and that's why their heads look the way they do.

One of those very rare shots when you find yourself with too much lens.

Thanks JJ. The spring migration should be in full swing through your area by now.

Nice shots. They all look a little thinner then when they left here a few weeks ago. The muddy heads really changes their look.
Cheers,
Steve

G'day Jim

... however - too much lens?? - I do like it very much > shows the beaut feathering of wings, the feet, the eyes > what more could an avid 'tog ask for [but I know all to well that we all want it to be 'perfect']

Regards, Phil
