Default Bald Eagle Brawl

For the last two years, in late February through March, we are overrun with Bald Eagles. Until they showed up a couple years ago I had never seen a Bald Eagle in the wild before. Last year we had at least 5 individuals ranging from juveniles to fully mature adults. The following sequence of photos quite frankly sucks; the action was about 600 feet away and these are VERY heavily cropped but it's the sequence of events that I think is cool. In the first shot you can see a lone juvenile perched in a dead tree minding his own business. In the second shot you see the incoming attacker. The third shot shows the inevitable collision and, finally, the fourth shot shows the two birds locked talon to talon.

thank you for sharing. Capturing action like this is hard and you managed alright even though the shots aren't the best the action is awesome.
