Default Squirrel Fest

After months of barely seeing a squirrel, never mind getting pictures of any, I visited the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh yesterday where the little furballs seemed to be running riot.

Although I don't like the "ground rats", good job. I could ship you crates full from my yard-they are eating all the sunflower seeds left out for the birds.

Same for Minnesota. How many would you like? They do get extra busy this time of the year. Let you know that Fall has fallen.

Thanks guys. I know they're not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoy watching them playing around.

Those are great pictures. Number 4 is a healthy fella. I love my tree rats, as long as they stay outta my bird seed. Problem solved once I got my yankee flipper, lol.

Mono, the tree rats abound here in florida. These pics of yours are about the best I've seen. Congratulations.

Many thanks, Robert. I think wildlife numbers are down here in general, and I suppose it's down to a couple of really severe winters in a row.

The squirrels are cute as hell, but they are a pest in my neighborhood stealing fruits from my trees, chewing up my fence boards and got into my attic a couple years ago.

Great series of photos! Those little tree rats are so fun to watch as they cavort through trees and across the lawn. We have a family of them that are having a hay day eating and storing nuts from our neighbor's tree. I need to get out and do some photo taking.
