The images look a little soft otherwise a good series. What camera and camera settings are you using?

Thanks WCKSer, the camera is a Sony Nex-5 with the 55-210mm kit lens.
ISO 200 shutter priority.
Exposures varied from 1/250 f/8 for the first shot to 1/160 F/13 for the last shot.
Processing restricted to levels, saturation and cropping.

I think your shutter speed may be too slow even for slow moving waterfowls. You should increase the shutter speed to 1/640 sec or faster and also increase the ISO to 400. Don't be afraid to use higher ISO for fear of getting noise in the picture. Modern camera like the NEX5 has an excellent sensor which can perform very well even in low light.

For post processing, you may want to use the software to increase the sharpness which may also help to bring more clarity in the pictures,
