Default Practicing for the "D" Day

I will be traveling to Maryland this Friday and Saturday to shoot some Eagles and this will be the first time doing this so I spent the last two weekends practicing with my gear to be ready to this day.

I usually shoot with a Nikon D600 but I just bought a Nikon D7100 to benefit from the cropped sensor.

Any advice and observation s are very welcome.

The eagle with the fish looks good. Your practice pays off handsomely. I hope you have more pictures for us to look at. Thanks for sharing!
