Small birds

A few small birds from my 2 day trip.

#1 Harris Sparrow.
#2 House Sparrow.
#3 Yellow-rumped Warbler.
#4 Meadowlark.
#5 White-crowned Sparrow.

Fantastic captures, the 1st one is great but the second is my favorite.

Thanks for the kind comments! Little birds are pretty and hard to capture in pictures. It is just a matter of luck to get in a good shot.

Very nice. Number 2 is my favorite as well.
I believe that first bird is a House sparrow as well but, I admit my song bird ID is not my strong suit.

Steve, you may be right of the ID of the first sparrow. This sparrow is too skinny in comparison to the one in the second picture which makes me thinking that it is another species. There is more sunlight up north in the Greater Sacramento area than down here in the Bay Area where we have a lot of coastal fog. I like the color of the sparrows in the first and second pictures due to the bright sunlight there.

Another great series. Nice and sharp. Really like the #4, I have yet to get a good shot of a meadowlark

Thanks! Small bird are hard to photograph and I wouldn't be able to see it and ID if not with the help from my friend Don who was doing all the driving and pointed out to me where the birds were.
