Default Brown Pelicans and American Wigeon

The Shoreline was cold this morning but there were still something out there for me to photograph.

Very nice set Michael,

The last picture is my favorite and the pelican remind me a story that happen last year after the hurricane Sandy.

We don't have Pelicans in New York but after the storm one was found on the beach of South Hampton, looks like he was dragged by the storm and he survived.

Thanks, Marcelo! This Pelican is one of a small flock of five Brown Pelicans who hang around the Shoreline. This one was perching on the guard rail of the pier. He knew I was approaching as he had his eye on me all the time. He flew off when I came within 25 feet.
