Default Courtship flights of Pintail

Courtship flights of Pintail ducks are now in full swing and the drakes all have their nice long pintail feathers.

Thanks again everyone. It is so much fun to watch the action. So, often the flight will come straight overhead and the birds are only about 10 feet away. You can hear the wind of their wings as they swoosh by. Fantastic, I love it.

Steve,

I noticed you are shooting under focal lengths between 240mm, 250mm, 320mm.
What lens are you using?

Marcelo, I am shooting with the Nikon AF-S 200-400mm f/4 VRII on a Nikon D7100 body in manual mode, ISO 250. Sometimes I add the TC1.4 though I did not use it for these shots. You can see the setup in my Avatar.
Cheers,
Steve
