Default Excellent series

Carlo, you did it again producing such nice pictures! They are sharp and colorful. I especially like the 3rd picture with a fish in the bill. The first 2 pictures are very interesting as if they are mating.

Really excellent photos - brilliant, sharp colors.
using Birds of Europe Field Guide this has to be a Common Kingfisher.
We don't have this species in the U.S. so very nice for me to see these photos. Somewhere around 90 species of Kingfisher in the world - all of beautiful birds.

Yes is a common Kingfisher , bird very common in Europe

What a magnificent bird. Number 3 with the fish is my favorite as well. Bravo!
The two top photos of the mating kingfishers is pretty special too.
