Default Great shot!

What a great catch! You definitely caught the hummingbird 'fluttering.'
Hard to do. Good going.

What kind of flower is that?(I'm asking so that if I go to my local nursery and ask for "the butterfly bush" they don't look at me sideways)

Thanks for the comment....and as far as asking for a butterfly bush, its a pretty common name, another used is summer lilac, and the real name is "Buddleia davidii" I believe. Type in butteryfly bush into any search engine and it should show you a whole list of sites. They are realy neat plants and get big. There is a group of them down the street next to the golf coarse and I will try to get a group shot of them.

Thanks again...

Default Nice Shot

Nice shot Brooks. It almost looks fake. Great color. I wish I had hummingbirds to take pictures of.

Well the blue "sky" is kind of fake, its the neighbor's old blue VW bus. Made kind of a cool backgound color.

Default Excellent

Could I ask what shutter speed, aperture and ISO you used for this photograph ? Also (a dumb question no doubt) how you got the image into your message ? I canít see any way of putting an attachment onto my message or copying in an image.

Regards,
Graham.
