Default From the new beastie

I recently (like this morning) received my new Fujifilm HS50EXR. This bridge camera will be my "in car" camera. Following are some of the first images out of the camera. Considering the sky was VERY cloudy (fixin' to pour down rain), I think it did very well.

And, finally...

Gary,

Those are great! I have been wondering about just using a bridge camera for wildlife, since I am a casual shooter anyway. How is the shutter delay?

Fuji have really gone the extra mile with this camera. HUGE improvement over it's predecessors! I've owned the HS10, HS20, HS25. This is so superior it's like another class. Shutter lag? Nil. Almost instantaneous focus. Continuous drive is SO much better on this over the previous HSXX it's unbelievable. 11 FPS is blazingly fast. Faster than my Pentax K-3. 24-1000mm eq. zoom is almost laughable but the improved IS there to back it up. Here's another example.
